About Myself

I always was the artist even as a child and I dreamed of being a teacher. I love art and I love children, combining the two loves seemed to be answering a calling so I have been an art teacher since 2004. Now I am blessed to work as an art teacher. It was 2015 when I started on my path of education to become a teacher. I am so happy to be the art teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes, it is truly a blessing. I am all about the art, all of the time and any thing that involves creating art become part of the hall of my favorite project. I believe that the top virtues a student should try to acquire are kindness, have courage to try, a positive attitude and honesty.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Outside of Jaguars

I am a professional Visual Artist and Illustrator.

I have curated for Broward College for 16 years for their Hispanic Heritage Group Exhibit.

I have been blessed to have a loving husband of 28 years and two beautiful adults children. We have two dogs, Zeus and Luna, and two cats, Musa and Henry. They are silly and they bring joy, at least most of the time.

I like to relax and spend time with my family when I am not in the classroom.

• Another student said she loved Wednesdays because she has art!
